A free film screening, a live performance and a design fair can each make a useful addition to your itinerary. Start with your dates and interests, then check the exact session and venue.

Seoul after dark: choose by the time you will arrive

Official information checked September 10, 2026. All times below are Korean time. An evening attraction may close well before midnight. Choose one main activity, then plan the return journey before leaving your accommodation.

N Seoul Tower: leave time to come down the hill

The operator’s hours put last observatory admission at 22:00 on weekdays and 22:30 on weekends/public holidays, 30 minutes before closing. Check current notices and visibility before buying an observatory ticket; weather can affect operation and the view.

The official transport guide lists circular buses 01A and 01B, reached from Chungmuro or Dongguk University stations. Their advertised operating window ends at 23:00, which is not a confirmed departure time from the tower stop. Check the actual downhill service before staying until closing. Ordinary-car access to the mountain is restricted, so do not assume a taxi can collect you at the tower entrance.

Myeongdong NANTA: an evening with a booked start time

The theatre’s schedule lists 20:00 shows Monday–Saturday, while Sundays and holidays normally end their schedule with a 17:00 start. Check your exact date because the operating calendar can change.

Online purchase closes two hours before a performance; ticket pickup and on-site purchases open one hour before it. Bring the required reservation number or ID. Reserve the Myeongdong branch, then save its entrance at 3F, 26 Myeongdong-gil. Our booking guide covers prices and cancellation rules.

Banpo Hangang Park: a walk, with the fountain as a separate plan

VISITKOREA lists the park as free and open 24 hours. A riverside walk can therefore be a later option when conditions allow. This does not establish all-night fountain shows, shops or transport.

Check Hangang’s current notices for fountain operation and access restrictions before travelling, especially after rain. Stay out of closed paths and flooded underpasses. Save your intended park entrance and exit; its official access page helps distinguish the available approaches.

Set the return plan before midnight

Check the last useful train for your destination and transfer, rather than a general subway closing time. Include the walk from the venue to the station. If relying on a Seoul N night bus, confirm its stop, direction and current arrival in your map app. Keep your accommodation’s Korean address available and compare the taxi’s night surcharge and app fees before requesting a ride.
