Arriving Late at Incheon: Night Buses and Your First Hotel Night

Compare Incheon night buses by Seoul destination, check T1 and T2 departures and tickets, and plan the last connection to your hotel.

Landing late does not automatically mean taking a taxi to Seoul. Incheon has dedicated airport night buses, but the useful choice depends on your terminal, hotel address, and the next departure after you clear arrivals. Landing time leaves immigration, baggage, customs, and the walk to transport still ahead.

The routes, fares, departures, and operator instructions below were checked on September 10, 2026. Recheck the linked timetable before traveling; these are scheduled departures, not live availability.

Choose the airport bus for your hotel area

These four services run from T2 via T1 toward Seoul. The fare column is the adult airport-to-Seoul fare; a shorter N6000 journey to Songjeong has a separate fare.

Route Seoul-bound stops to compare with your hotel Adult fare
N6000 Songjeong, Yeomchang, Gangnam Express Bus Terminal ₩17,000
N6002 Hongdae, Four Seasons Hotel near Gwanghwamun, Heunginjimun, Cheongnyangni ₩17,000
N6701 Mapo, Seoul Station/Sungnyemun, Euljiro 1-ga, DDP ₩18,000
N6703 Seorae Village, COEX East Gate, Jamsil Lotte World, Gangbyeon, Gwangnaru ₩18,000

Route and fare sources: Incheon Airport, with exact city stops on the operator’s N6701 and N6703 pages. Airport-bound stops can differ from arrival drop-offs.

Older instructions for N6001 to Seoul Station predate the August 2025 route reorganization: N6001 was integrated into N6002. For the current Seoul Station night connection, check N6701.

Airport N6000/N6002/N6701/N6703 services are separate from Seoul’s city night buses. Keep the N when checking the route: daytime 6002 and N6002 do not make all the same stops. Budget an onward city bus or taxi separately; do not assume an airport ticket includes a metropolitan transfer discount.

Check your terminal’s departures

All times below are Korean local time, in overnight service order. They are departures from the airport toward Seoul.

Route Terminal 1 departures Terminal 2 departures
N6000 00:10, 00:50, 01:30, 02:10, 03:40, 04:20 23:50, 00:30, 01:10, 01:50, 03:20, 04:00
N6002 00:00, 00:30, 01:00, 01:40, 04:00, 04:40 23:40, 00:10, 00:40, 01:20, 03:40, 04:20
N6701 23:50, 00:40, 01:40, 03:45, 04:40 23:30, 00:20, 01:20, 03:25, 04:20
N6703 23:40, 00:20, 01:05, 01:45, 03:50, 04:50 23:20, 00:00, 00:45, 01:25, 03:30, 04:30

Recheck the airport’s T1 timetable or T2 timetable, scrolling to your route and the airport departure column. On Airport Limousine’s N6000 or N6002 page, choose From Airport (Late Night) and your terminal stop.

Frequency is uneven: missing T1’s 01:40 N6002 means the next listed departure is 04:00. After midnight, the calendar date advances: Friday 00:30 follows Thursday 23:30. Confirm the actual date on any ticket or booking.

Buy the ticket and find the boarding bay

At T1, head to the 1F arrivals bus area; at T2, use the B1 transportation center. Buy your airport-departure ticket before boarding and check its route, terminal, time, and bay. Do not arrive expecting to tap onto these buses like an ordinary city bus.

Airport Limousine lists T2 bay 28 for N6000 and 30 for N6002 on the route pages above. For K Airport Limousine, the terminal guide lists T1 bays 3B/4A and T2 bays 18/19; use your ticket and current signs to identify your particular service.

N6000/N6002 airport tickets are sold at airport counters or machines. The operator’s ticketing guide says machines operate 24 hours, including night-bus ticketing, while staffed counters have closing periods. For N6701/N6703, the airport also lists Tmoney GO ticketing. An app listing does not guarantee that your foreign payment card will work.

Finish the journey to a room you can enter

Check the street-level drop-off, not just the station name. N6701’s Seoul Station stop is at Sungnyemun; N6703’s COEX arrival stop is the East Gate. Save a walking route to your actual hotel entrance, accounting for luggage and closed station passages. If that connection needs a taxi, include it in the total cost and keep a direct airport transfer as a backup.

Tell the hotel your likely arrival time and ask for delayed-flight and late-check-in instructions. Reaching the property at 01:30 Friday does not establish which hotel night you need; confirm the booking dates directly.

For an airport stay, distinguish public/landside accommodation from a transit hotel beyond passport control. Darakhyu T2 is in the B1 transportation center’s public area; Walkerhill’s transit hotel serves a different access situation. Public waiting seats are also different from a reserved sleeping room. Check whether your room type includes a shower, and confirm access, availability, and check-in time before relying on either property.

An airport-area hotel can still require another journey. For example, ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport lists a shuttle from T1’s 1F stop 3C and T2’s 1F stop 4A; it is not an in-terminal room. A listing that says “free shuttle” does not establish overnight service. Before booking any airport-area hotel, check the last pickup from your terminal, how long you could wait, and the taxi or other arrival arrangement if your flight is delayed. Confirm that the reception can admit you at the time you actually reach the hotel.

Save your Korean hotel address, entrance instructions, chosen departure, and backup booking offline, with enough phone battery to retrieve them.
